Smriti Mandhana becomes the most Expensive Player of inaugural Women Premier League (WPL) with a bid of 3.40Cr.

Smriti Mandhana Emerged as the most expensive Player of the Women's Premier League 2023 (WPL). The highest bid came from the Royal Challengers Bangalore. They made the highest bid of 3.40 crore Indian Rupees. The fight was between Mumbai Indians women and Royal Challengers Bangalore Women's management & Finally Bangalore went with the Top Bid as Mumbai's Purse did not allow the management to go ahead of 3.20Cr INR.

Smriti is born on 18 July 1996 in Mumbai (Maharashtra). Her full name is Smriti Shriniwas Mandhana. She is a left-Handed Batswoman, and she can even bowl as a Right arm off break. Her jersey Number is 18. She has been representing the Indian National team since 2013.


Mandhana's Height is 163cm or 1.63m in feet it will be 5'4". At Present (2023) her age is 27 years & currently she is unmarried. Her favorite cricketer is Sachin Tendulkar.


Her T20 and ODI Debuts came against Bangladesh on 5 April 2013 & 10 April 2013. Her First appearance in Test came on 13 August 2014 against the England Side. 


If we talk about her career Statistics Smriti had played 7 Tests, 77 ODIs, and 105 T-20 Matches so far. Smriti had a Batting average of around 46 in ODI's and Tests while in T-20 her average is a bit more than 27. Mandhana's Top score is 135 (ODI runs) across all the formats. She had one Test century, and 5 ODI centuries. She was awarded Arjuna Award for cricket in year 2018.

BCCI announced the Schedule for Women's IPL | WPL Schedule | Women's Premier League Schedule/Fixture

BCCI has announced the Schedule for the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2023. According to the Fixture each team will play against each other twice in the league matches. The matches will only be played in Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai and Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai. The first Match will be played on 04 March between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians at 7:30pm. Total 22 Matches will be played 20 league matches, one eliminator and one Final in the inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL) also known as Women IPL. The Final will be played on 26 March at 7:30pm.
